We’re looking for a Social & Community Manager to grow our social presence and build a loyal, active community around running, endurance sport, energy and hydration.
You’ll join a global sports nutrition company whose brand is well known and respected in the running industry. As an active runner, you’ll bring first-hand understanding of training, race day, recovery and running communities—helping us represent our products credibly, create authentic content and understand how and when we can be genuinely useful to runners.
You’ll build relationships with creators, run clubs and runners, and turn real experiences and customer insights into social-first storytelling that grows awareness, conversation and consideration. A major focus will be developing our presence on TikTok and delivering community activations around key sporting moments, including marathons.
Develop and deliver our social and community strategy, with a focus on building a distinctive, creator-led presence on TikTok.
Source, recruit and manage a diverse roster of running, fitness and lifestyle creators who can make engaging, social-first content.
Brief creators with clear audience insights, creative hooks, product benefits and approved claims; provide toolkits that help them create natural, on-brand work.
Manage influencer campaigns end to end, including outreach, negotiation, product seeding, briefs, approvals, schedules, usage rights and performance reviews.
Lead community management across priority channels: respond to comments and messages, set response guidelines, escalate issues and encourage meaningful conversation.
Build genuine relationships with inclusive run clubs and running communities, supporting their activity and collaborating on useful, engaging content.
Plan and deliver community activations around major events, particularly marathons, bringing runner stories to life before, during and after each event.
Help create programmes that follow runners through training, race day and recovery, coordinating contributors, content capture, approvals and permissions.
Work with brand, content and e-commerce teams to repurpose high-performing community and creator content for organic and paid channels, including product pages and retail assets.
Listen to runners by reviewing comments, DMs, reviews and creator feedback; turn recurring questions and needs into content ideas and clearer briefs.
Track content output, engagement, user-generated content, community health and campaign performance, using results to improve future activity.
Protect our voice and reputation by checking content for accuracy, appropriate product claims and usage rights, and raising potential risks promptly.
You are an active runner and understand the realities of running—not just as a spectator, but through your own experience.
You can explain how runners’ needs change across training, race day and recovery, and use that understanding to make brand communication relevant and credible.
You have experience in social media, influencer marketing, creator management or community building.
You understand short-form video and TikTok: how to find strong hooks, use relevant formats and help creators tell stories in their own voice.
You enjoy conversation and relationship-building, and believe a healthy community matters more than follower numbers alone.
You’re confident writing in a clear, inclusive and straight-talking voice.
You have good creative judgement and know how to make content feel authentic rather than overly promotional.
You’re organised and can manage several creators, timelines, approvals and deliverables at once.
You’re comfortable learning from performance data and turning those learnings into practical improvements.
You work well with internal teams, creators, event partners and community groups, and are careful with details such as claims, permissions and usage rights.
You’re proactive, adaptable and comfortable testing ideas, scaling what works and changing what doesn’t.
This role is based in Brighton with two days office based
