Social & Community Manager - Brighton - £35-40K DOE plus benefits and bonus

Our client is looking for a creative, community-led Social & Community Manager to build an engaged audience, grow creator partnerships, and bring brand storytelling to life across social platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands digital culture, knows how to build genuine communities, and can turn insights into content that drives both engagement and conversion.

In this role, you will shape how the brand shows up across social and community channels, with a strong focus on creator content, audience growth, and two-way engagement. You will help develop a consistent content engine that reflects customer insight, brand personality, and cultural relevance.

You will also play a key role in delivering activation plans around major moments and partnerships, helping to bring stories to life before, during, and after important events. The role suits someone who is confident managing multiple stakeholders, creators, and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

What you’ll do

Build and manage a creator network that produces high-performing social-first content.

Brief and support creators with clear concepts, messaging, and content direction.

Manage influencer and creator campaigns end to end, including outreach, briefing, approvals, posting schedules, and reporting.

Lead community engagement across social channels, including comment strategy, response handling, escalation, and proactive conversation.

Work with internal teams to repurpose standout user-generated content for wider organic and paid use.

Support community activations and storytelling around key campaigns, partnerships, and brand moments.

Gather insights from comments, messages, reviews, and creator feedback to inform future content and strategy.

Track performance across social and community activity, using data to improve output, relevance, and efficiency.

About you

Strong social-first storytelling skills and a good understanding of what works on modern platforms.

Experience managing creators, influencers, or user-generated content at pace.

Confidence with short-form content and an understanding of hooks, trends, and creator-native formats.

Excellent copywriting and tone-of-voice skills, especially in two-way engagement settings.

Strong organisation and project management across multiple deliverables and deadlines.

A commercial mindset, with the ability to use data and insights to improve performance.

Clear stakeholder management skills and confidence working across internal and external teams.

A detail-oriented approach, especially around approvals, claims, permissions, and brand consistency.

The right person

You’ll be creator-native, community-first, and energised by building belonging rather than simply broadcasting content. You’ll understand how to turn audience feedback into action, spot opportunities in culture, and keep momentum without losing quality.

You’ll also be collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a test-and-learn environment where quick iteration is part of the job. Most importantly, you’ll bring an authentic passion for sport, fitness, and active lifestyles, along with a straight-talking and inclusive communication style.

Why this opportunity stands out

This is a great role for someone who wants to make a visible impact across social, creator, and community activity. You’ll have the chance to shape how the brand connects with people, build meaningful engagement, and influence content that reaches far beyond the feed.

You will have a keen interest in sports and nutrition.

This role is office based 2-3 days per week
